Testimonials
Working with Dr. David has been a game-changer for Ashmore Dentistry. His punctuality, calm demeanour, and patient-centred approach have made him a standout. The integration of his anaesthesia services into our practice has been seamless, significantly reducing patient anxiety and administrative workload.
Our patients are completely satisfied with the pain management, and the coordination between our teams is exceptional. We’ve seen an increase in patient referrals and are now able to offer more complex procedures with ease.
The cost-effectiveness and accessibility of his services have been crucial for us. We highly recommend Dr. David to any practice looking to enhance their patient care.

I don’t know what we would do in Ballarat without David Canty and the sleep dentistry crew. I have practised as a dentist in this large regional town for 33 years, offering general anaesthetic dentistry.
David and his team provide the very best of care for our patients and top quality facilities. Five star kindness and efficiency .
The service is well organised, very professional, and personalised. We have worked with David for many years now and have never had a complaint but have always had glowing feedback from our patients.
We very much enjoy working with David. His whole team’s communication is excellent , they provide clear information and help wherever needed. They are sensible, flexible and understanding when it comes to scheduling the procedures.

My son Spencer has recently had dental work done by Dr Anna under a general anaesthetic performed by Dr David Canty, the whole process has been incredibly reassuring.
Our Spencer is five years old with autism, he struggles to communicate some things and can be quite persistent in showing us when he doesn’t want to be somewhere and the dentist chair is one of those places.
Dr Canty and Dr Anna made the whole process for myself and Spencer a relaxing and safe experience including phone calls prior explaining in detail what occurs. To then allocate time prior so Spencer didn’t feel rushed to finally making sure he was comfortable and in my arms to wake up too. Spencer now has beautiful clean teeth and in no pain. I was incredibly nervous as all parents would be, so I’m very thankful for the care we were shown.

The mobile anaesthesia service has transformed the way dental surgeries are approached. As a recovery nurse, I appreciate the positive feedback we regularly receive from the patients in our care.
It is an absolute pleasure to work in such a supportive and collaborative team environment. As a nurse, I feel highly valued and part of a team of people who strive to deliver the best possible patient care.

The staff were excellent they were communicative and got right back to us when we emailed or left questions on voicemail.
David took his time to explain what would be happening and was very understanding about my needs – he put me first as my parents had no way of communicating with me that I could not eat and drink.
He was calm and gentle while dealing with me as I got anxious when I laid down on the bed before surgery.
He used many strategies in order to get the canula on me. Staff at recovery were excellent and allowed my parents to stay with me as I was waking up.
